FUJI X100T / X-T1 / X-PRO2 REVIEW
ALL UNFIT FOR PURPOSE

When using the optical or electronic viewfinder, if you press the menu button the menu appears IN THE VIEWFINDER.

Nobody navigates the full menu in the viewfinder.

On previous Fuji cameras when using the viewfinder the menu always appeared on the LCD display, as it does with Canon, Nikon and most other major manufacturers. This option has been removed on the new Fuji cameras and firmware updates, and the camera menus are now extremely slow and cumbersome to use in fast moving situations.
WHY I HAVE ABANDONED FUJI

I have abandoned Fuji after nearly 6 years of brand loyalty. With the introduction of the X100T and the X-Pro2 Fuji have abandoned the globally accepted norm that you compose in the viewfinder and view the menu on the LCD. For me this change is unacceptable. Fuji have never had even the courtesy to reply to any of my many emails I have sent them. They have chosen to go against established practices, and they have made their new cameras, in my opinion, unfit for purpose.

Paul Crespel's street photography camera. He used to use Fuji, but when Fuji lost their way and started doing strange things he reverted to Canon.
